Tempe, Ariz. (2/06/10) – On Saturday night, the tenth-ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils entered a must-win situation inside Oceanside Ice Arena. Another loss to the 13th-ranked University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos and their chance at making the National Tournament in March would be all but over. The Sun Devils battled hard all night long against the Bronchos, but it was not enough as they fell 5-4.

Tempe, Ariz. (1/30/10) – The eighth-ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils returned to Oceanside Ice Arena on Saturday night looking to continue their push towards a National Championship bid. Facing them were their archrivals, the University of Arizona Icecats, looking to get their first win of the year against Arizona State. After a close contest between the two sides in the first, the Sun Devils offense took over in the final two periods and crushed the Icecats, 8-3.

Tempe, Ariz. (1/23/10) – On Saturday night, the eighth-ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils concluded their four-game series against the reigning D1 and D2 ACHA National Champions. The top-ranked D1 defending champions, the Lindenwood University Lions, looked to make sure the Sun Devils finished with a losing record against the top teams of ACHA D1 and D2. The Sun Devils looked poised to take down the top-ranked team as they held the Lions scoreless for more than 58 minutes. However, Lindenwood scored two goals in the final one minute, 33 seconds to tie the game before winning in overtime, 3-2.

(1/22/10) – After a terrible showing on Wednesday night against Davenport, the eighth-ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils looked to bounce back in front of their fans at Oceanside Ice Arena. However, they were facing the defending Division 1 National Champions and top-ranked team in the league this year, the Lindenwood University Lions. While the Sun Devils’ defensive effort improved from the previous game, their offense remained silent as they fell to the Lions, 4-1.

Norman, Okla. (1/11/10) – On Monday night, the eighth-ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils returned to Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma to take on the seventh-ranked University of Oklahoma Sooners. Although the Sun Devils fought hard and held a two-goal lead after two periods, the Sooners would rally back with three goals in the third period before capping the comeback with the game-winner in overtime for a 5-4 victory over the Devils.

Norman, Okla. (1/10/10) – After enjoying more than a month off, the eighth-ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils kicked off the 2010 portion of their season Sunday night in Oklahoma. The Sun Devils were facing a tough test as the seventh-ranked University of Oklahoma Sooners welcomed them into Blazers Ice Centre. With a fast start to the game and great goaltending all night, the Sooners would defeat the Sun Devils, 4-1.
